We support the concerts of Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa
and provide assistance in various ways.
Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa was established in November 1988 as Japan’s first full-scale professional chamber orchestra, led by Ishikawa Prefecture and Kanazawa City. Under the late Hiroyuki Iwaki, its founding music director, the orchestra invited members from around the world, actively engaged in contemporary music, and carried out vigorous performances both in Japan and overseas. Through these efforts, the orchestra has received high acclaim from many quarters. Rengo will continue to support the concerts of this wonderful orchestra.
Stradivarius
As part of its social contribution activities, Rengo owns the famous violin "Stradivarius 'Lang' (crafted in 1714)" and lends it to Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa.
