Past Initiatives

Rengo established its flexible packaging sales division in 1990 and strengthened its light packaging supply structure in 1998 by bringing Howa Sangyo into the Group. In 2020, the Company launched the REBIOS series, a packaging line based on plant-derived biodegradable cellophane and paper. In April 2024, the packaging solutions businesses of Sun・Tox and Mitsui Chemicals Tohcello were integrated, forming RM TOHCELLO as part of the Group. This further strengthened the integrated structure from base materials in the flexible packaging field.

Outlook

By establishing an integrated structure from film to finished products, the Company will enhance competitiveness by improving manufacturing efficiency and quality, while advancing the development of environmentally friendly materials and strengthening recycling technologies. The Company will also advance multifunctionality through technological innovation to meet diverse customer needs. Furthermore, it will expand its lineup of sustainable products and increase market share to build a stronger competitive position.
