Rengo to Revise Cellophane Prices
Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that it will revise the prices of its cellophane.
Rengo has been making every effort to maintain the quality of its cellophane and ensure a stable supply. However, since the last price revision in 2023, various costs have risen, including production costs such as fuel and electricity, as well as personnel and logistics costs. In addition, recent developments in the Middle East have caused the purchase prices of dissolving pulp, chemicals, and other materials to surge.
Rengo has made every effort to maintain prices by thoroughly reducing costs. However, these circumstances have placed significant pressure on the profitability of Rengo's cellophane business, and the situation has reached a point where it can no longer be overcome through the company's efforts alone.
For these reasons, Rengo will be revising the price of its cellophane as set out below, in order to continue its cellophane business and to continue maintaining the quality of its cellophane and ensuring a stable supply. Rengo sincerely asks for your understanding and cooperation in this regard.
