Vegetables Unified Box for Shiga Promotion "Jimi-Omi"
This package design transforms the role of a shipping box from merely "carrying" to being a "medium for spreading a brand nationwide."
By limiting the corrugated cardboard printing to two colors, it achieves a simple yet powerful visual impact. The design expresses regional identity through an original emblem inspired by Lake Biwa, the philosophy of sanpo yoshi ("good for seller, buyer, and society"), and the local dialect catchphrase "Hoyakara Omi," delivering cultural pride together with the produce. It delivers the passion of young farmers to consumers across Japan and expands the appeal and future of Shiga vegetables.
