Rengo's Cellulose Nanofiber FineNatura™ Selected as Pigment Dispersion Stabilizer for Inkjet Inks
Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that its newly developed cellulose nanofiber FineNatura™ has been selected as a pigment dispersion stabilizer for inkjet inks.
FineNatura is a cellulose nanofiber with an extremely small fiber diameter and no chemical modification. Due to its excellent transparency, high thermal stability, and thixotropic properties*, it is expected to be used in a wide range of applications, including thickeners, emulsifiers, and dispersion stabilizers. This selection of FineNatura for inkjet inks was based on its recognized effectiveness in suppressing pigment settling and reducing the risk of clogging in inkjet nozzles.
Rengo will continue working to expand the range of applications for FineNatura.* A property where viscosity decreases when force is applied, such as by stirring, and then returns to its original viscosity when the force is removed
