Rengo Wins Japan Packaging Institute 49th Kinoshita Prize Packaging Engineering Award
Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that it has won the 49th Kinoshita Prize Packaging Engineering Award presented by the Japan Packaging Institute (JPI) for its development of the domestically produced height-adjustable packaging machine J-RexS.
J-RexS is a domestically produced automatic packaging machine that sets the base area of the corrugated boxes according to the size of the product, and cuts and seals it according to the product's height. It can minimize the amount of packaging material used, improve loading efficiency, and reduce transportation costs.
This award was given in recognition of the establishment of the world's first innovative technology for cutting corrugated board without using sharp blades, as well as the fact that it is domestically produced, meaning quick delivery and after-sales service can be expected.
Rengo will continue to develop packaging materials and packaging machinery solutions that streamline logistics in Japan, as well as support the development of a sustainable economic society and the enrichment of peoples' lives under the concept of "Less is more."Domestically produced height-adjustable packaging machine J-RexS
