Due to the impact of global inflation, tariff policies, and other factors, prices of raw materials, fuel, and various supplies continue to rise and remain at elevated levels. In addition, structural cost increases throughout the value chain are being driven by increases in labor costs due to wage hikes and worsening labor shortages, rising logistics costs, responses to price revision requests from partner companies in accordance with the Declaration of Partnership Building, growing maintenance and repair costs for facilities, and the implementation of environmental measures.
Under these circumstances, while Rengo has been making efforts to absorb costs through internal measures, it is now in a situation where price revisions are unavoidable in order to ensure stable supply and maintain product quality.
