Rengo Acquires Shinko Inc.
Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that it has acquired 100% of the issued shares of Shinko Inc., making it a subsidiary.
Shinko was originally founded as Shinko Shiki Co., Ltd. in 1953 and has since been engaged in the manufacturing and sales of packaging materials as the box manufacturing company of the Beams Group, which operates multi-brand shops. Based at its plant in Higashimurayama-shi, Tokyo, the company has built a solid customer base primarily in the Tama region.
Going forward, Rengo will strengthen collaboration between Shinko and plants directly managed by Rengo as well as Rengo Group companies, aiming to further expand the Group’s corrugated packaging business.
