Rengo Subsidiary Tri-Wall Acquires Manufacturer of Heavy Duty Packaging in Mexico
Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that its consolidated subsidiary Tri-Wall Limited has acquired a 99.99% stake in THIMM Packaging Systems, S. de R.L de C.V. (THIMM Mexico) through TW México Packaging Solutions, S. de R.L de C.V. (TW Mexico). The Tri-Wall Group owns an 80% stake in TW Mexico.
THIMM Mexico was established as the Mexican subsidiary of the THIMM Group, a general packaging manufacturer headquartered in Germany. THIMM Mexico manufactures and sells packaging materials, such as heavy duty corrugated packaging, mainly for automotive-related industries.
Rengo has developed its heavy duty packaging materials business including corrugated packaging globally through the Tri-Wall Group. As a part of this activity, TW Mexico was established and commenced business last year in Mexico, a hub for automotive-related industries.
With the addition of THIMM Mexico, Rengo will promote business expansion by strengthening the supply system in Mexico while responding to diverse packaging needs.Overview of Tri-Wall Limited
