Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces that its consolidated subsidiary, Tri-Wall Limited (Head Office: Hong Kong, Chairman: Yuji Suzuki), has completed the construction of a second plant for its subsidiary, Tri-Wall Packaging (Thai) Ltd. (hereinafter, TWPT; Rayong, Thailand).

TWPT engages in the manufacture and sale of heavy-duty corrugated and general purpose corrugated board and boxes. With expansion of its business operations, there was an urgent need to improve its production structure. The completion of its second plant has resulted in enhanced converting facilities and a larger warehouse space.

In Rayong, where TWPT is situated, the Thai government is promoting financial investment in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), and demand for heavy-duty packaging is expected to increase further going forward. With the completion of the second plant, TWPT will respond to the diverse needs of customers in the ASEAN region, primarily those from Thailand, for heavy-duty corrugated packaging, and at the same time further expand its business.
