    Rengo Formulates the Action Plan for Empowering Female Workers

    Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that it has formulated the Action Plan for Empowering Female Workers.

    Based on the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace, we formulated the action plan with the period from FY2016 to FY2020, and have placed emphasis on encouraging the employment of women, actively promoting them, and expanding their areas of responsibility. The goals set forth in the action plan are expected to be achieved, but in order to further accelerate the initiative, we formulated the Action Plan for Empowering Female Workers (April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2026).

    At Rengo, we intend to continue to improve the environment in which each individual can maximize their unique potential, and further improve the motivation and competency of women.

    Goals Stated in the Action Plan
    1.
    Achieve an employment rate of at least 30% for female employees in career-path positions
    2.
    Achieve an employment rate of at least 20% for female employees working as office & production staff
    3.
    Achieve 1.5 times or more for the number of female employees in managerial positions (from 40 in FY2020 to 60 or more)
    4.
    Achieve a rate of at least 80% for male employees taking childcare leave
