    Rengo Acquires NISHIHARA-SHIGYO

    Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces it has acquired 80% of shares with voting rights of NISHIHARA-SHIGYO Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Samukawa-machi, Koza-gun, Kanagawa; President: Seiichiro Nishihara), making NISHIHARA-SHIGYO a Rengo subsidiary.
    NISHIHARA SHIGYO is a box maker trading in the southern Kanto region centered on Kanagawa. Going forward, Rengo will strengthen NISHIHARA SHIGYO's competitiveness by providing support in aspects such as manufacturing and sales, and at the same time, pursue further expansion of the Rengo Group's corrugated packaging business in the Kanto region through collaboration with Group companies and nearby plants directly managed by Rengo.
