Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces that it acquired 100% of the issued shares of Takedashiki Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kashiwa-shi, Chiba; President: Nobuyuki Kori), making Takedashiki a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Takedashiki is a corrugated box manufacturer located in Kashiwa-shi, Chiba. The company also plans and sells packaging-related products such as POP and SP products with its two assembly centers in Kashiwa-shi and Noda-shi, where it conducts assembly business for foodstuffs and cosmetic products.
Rengo will strengthen collaboration among Takedashiki, its own plants and other group companies, and in the Kanto region it will broaden the Group's corrugated packaging business and expand the SP business.
