Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces it has acquired a 25% stake in Rengo Packaging Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (RPM), a corrugated subsidiary located in Shah Alam near Kuala Lumpur, from Thai Containers Group Co., Ltd. Through this acquisition, RPM has been made a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rengo.

The corrugated packaging business in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, is an important strategic focus for the overseas operations of the Rengo Group as a “General Packaging Industry” (GPI). Rengo will work to further enhance its supply system within the region.
