Asahi Danboru Reaches Agreement to Acquire
Siko's Corrugated Packaging Business RightsRengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces that its consolidated subsidiary Asahi Danboru Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture; President: Takeshi Muramoto) has reached an agreement to acquire the corrugated packaging business rights of Siko Corporation (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Tadanobu Shiraishi).
Siko has a long history as a leading manufacturer that produces and sells products used as industrial packaging materials, including large-size paper bags, polyethylene heavy-duty packaging, corrugated boxes, and plastic corrugated board. In its corrugated packaging business, it has developed good relationships with many excellent customers primarily in the Shikoku region.
Asahi Danboru will take over Siko's business connections in the corrugated packaging business and will continue providing stable supplies of products, as well as endeavoring to further enhance the Rengo Group's corrugated packaging business in the Shikoku region.
