Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces that its consolidated subsidiary Asahi Shiko Co., Ltd. (Head office: Konosu-shi, Saitama Prefecture, President: Yasushi Aoki) has completed construction of a corrugator plant building, extension of an office warehouse building, and renovation of the corrugator at its head office plant (Konosu-shi, Saitama Prefecture).

Asahi Shiko will expand production capacity by introducing cutting-edge equipment such as the corrugator, and will handle production of heavy-duty corrugated board. With the completion of these works, the Group intends to enhance its corrugated packaging supply structure in the Kanto region, and to further boost its corrugated packaging business by more rapidly responding to user needs and making further improvements to the quality.
