Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces that its wholly owned subsidiaries Howa Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Funabashi-shi, Chiba; President: Yoshitaka Ozawa) and Nihon Matai Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President: Masao Fujita) have jointly established a sales company in Thailand.

The new company will operate as a sales base both for Howa Sangyo's flexible packaging business and for Nihon Matai's heavy duty packaging business in Thailand and the Southeast Asia region, and will aim to improve the Group's management efficiency and expand its business operations.
