Rengo Acquires ISCC CORSIA Certification for NEDO-Funded Project Implemented by Biomaterial in Tokyo
Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that its subsidiary Biomaterial in Tokyo Co., Ltd. is carrying out a Demonstration Project for Integrated Production and Establishment of Supply Chain for Domestic SAF from Pulp using funding from the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). Rengo is pleased to announce that the pulp supplier for the project has obtained ISCC CORSIA certification based on the sustainability certification scheme for the international aviation sector.
This is the first certification for a production site in Japan as part of the process involved in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production, and is a step toward establishing a production process for SAF that can be used as a CORSIA eligible fuel.Overview of Biomaterial in Tokyo Co., Ltd.
