Rengo Acquires RM TOHCELLO
As Rengo Co., Ltd. announces in the "Notice Regarding Business Integration (Merger) Between Rengo Subsidiary Sun·Tox and Mitsui Chemicals Tohcello and Acquisition of Shares in Integrated Company by Rengo (Making it into a Subsidiary)" published on June 29, 2023, on April 1, 2024, it has integrated Sun·Tox Co., Ltd. and Mitsui Chemicals Tohcello, Inc.’s Packaging Solution business in an absorption-type merger and acquired 51.0% of shares issued by the Integrated Company (New trading name: RM TOHCELLO CO., LTD.) on the same date, making it into a subsidiary.
As a frontrunner of polyolefin films and foam-molded sheets, RM TOHCELLO CO., LTD. will enhance its supply system and strengthen its development capabilities.
The Rengo Group intends to further promote development of the flexible packaging business through the making of the company into a subsidiary.Overview of RM TOHCELLO CO., LTD.
