Rengo Acquires RM TOHCELLO
As Rengo Co., Ltd. announces in the "Notice Regarding Business Integration (Merger) Between Rengo Subsidiary SunTox and Mitsui Chemicals Tohcello and Acquisition of Shares in Integrated Company by Rengo (Making it into a Subsidiary)" published on June 29, 2023, on April 1, 2024, it has integrated the Packaging Solution business of SunTox Co., Ltd. and Mitsui Chemicals Tohcello, Inc. in an absorption-type merger and acquired 51.0% of shares issued by the Integrated Company (New trading name: RM TOCHELLO CO., LTD.) on the same date, making it into a subsidiary.
As a frontrunner of polyolefin films and foam-molded sheets, RM TOCHELLO CO., LTD. will enhance its supply system and strengthen its development capabilities.
The Rengo Group intends to further promote development of the flexible packaging business through the making of the company into a subsidiary.Overview of RM TOHCELLO CO., LTD.
