Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that it will revise the prices of its cellophane.
Although Rengo is making every effort to ensure a stable supply of cellophane with consistent quality, production costs such as the prices of dissolving pulp, chemicals, fuel, and electricity have been surging and putting pressure on the profits of the cellophane business.
Despite Rengo's efforts to maintain pricing through thorough cost reduction, the situation is now such that it is impossible for Rengo to keep prices at the same level through its own efforts alone.
For these reasons, Rengo will be revising the price of its cellophane, as set out below, to continue its cellophane business as well as to continue maintaining and improving the quality of cellophane and its stable supply.
