Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that it has acquired 100% of the shares issued by Hiropax Co., Ltd., making Hiropax a Rengo subsidiary.
Hiropax Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells corrugated boxes, chemical products (plastic vacuum formed products), and printed label and sticker products, and it has four manufacturing facilities centered in Takasaki-shi, Gunma Prefecture. With its strength in proposing and selling multi-purpose packaging products as a set, the company has built a solid customer base, particularly in the chemical, semiconductor, electronics, and food-related industries.
Rengo will respond to a wide range of packaging needs by leveraging the chemical products and label/sticker business, and will further enhance the Group's corrugated packaging business in the Kanto region by strengthening collaboration in sales and development with Hiropax, our directly managed plants in the vicinity, and other Group companies.
