Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that it will open the Yashio Second Logistics Center, a logistics center for containerboard in the Kanto region.
The center is designed to further expand the capabilities of the Yashio Logistics Center which opened in 2015 and is capable of storing 24,000 tons of containerboard. A reduction in CO2 emissions is expected by supporting the Yashio Paper Mill from a logistics standpoint to respond to its system for increased production resulting from the remodeling of paperboard machines and improvement of production efficiency, as well as by improving the efficiency of logistics through the use of RFID.
Rengo will continue to improve transportation quality and service as well as promote the White Logistics Movement, such as by carrying out further operational reform of logistics sites and contributing toward the work style reform of truck drivers.
