Rengo Constructs Logistics Center in Kansai Region

Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces it has started work on the construction of a new logistics center—tentatively named Yodogawa Logistics Center—at Fukushima-ku, Osaka-shi.

The site of the center at Fukushima-ku, Osaka-shi used to be the location of the previous Yodogawa Mill, which closed on March 31, 2018. A multi-tenant logistics warehouse is being constructed jointly with Sumitomo Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masayuki Hyodo) at the site, and a portion of the warehouse is planned to serve as the Rengo Group's logistics center.
Upon completion, as the Rengo Group's largest logistics center in the Kansai region, the center will seek to bring efficiency to logistics and improve transportation quality and service. At the same time, it will promote the operational reform of logistics sites, and contribute to work style reform for truck drivers from a shipper company standpoint.
