Rengo's Social Contribution Activities and
Cultural and Educational Support

RENGO contributes to social and lifestyle enrichment through
its active support for cultural and educational activities.

Support for the Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa
We are supporting performances by Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, the first genuine professional chamber orchestra in Japan. We own the renowned Stradivarius “Lang” violin, which we loan to the orchestra.

Support to Antarctica Expedition
Rengo has been supplying corrugated boxes to the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE) to transport important materials and goods essential for living in Antarctica and to pack valuable samples for preservation since the very first expedition in 1956.

Tonegawa Summer Evening Festival
The Tonegawa Division has held the Summer Evening Festival, to which locals are invited every year. It is a regular event that is held through deep connections with the local community. The Bon festival dancing, taiko drum performances, and fireworks displays are hugely popular with locals, attracting a lively crowd of some 3,000 participants each year.
