Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces that it will revise the prices of its containerboard and corrugated boards/boxes.

The price of recovered paper, the main raw material for containerboard, has surged significantly. At the same time, the prices of fuel such as heavy oil, coal and utility gas, miscellaneous materials such as chemicals and logistics costs have also increased greatly. Despite our previous efforts in thorough cost reduction initiatives and hard work to maintain pricing, the situation is now such that it is impossible for Rengo to keep prices at the same level through its own efforts alone.

For these reasons, Rengo will be revising the prices of its containerboard and corrugated boards/boxes as set out below.
