Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces that its consolidated subsidiary, Sanyo Jidosha Unso Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Higashiosaka-shi, Osaka; President: Hidemi Ogino) has constructed a new Kyoto branch in Yawata-shi, Kyoto, and held a ceremony on September 5 to mark its completion.

The new Kyoto branch has a platform (handling room) on the first floor, and a distribution warehouse on the second floor. The functions of the former Kyoto branch (Minami-ku, Kyoto-shi) have been transferred there, and its facilities and equipment have been extended and renovated. This enables more efficient collection and delivery operations, and further streamlining operations and dispatch, we also plan to enhance our third-party logistics (3PL) business.

Sanyo Jidosha Unso Co., Ltd. will further improve the quality of its cargo transport operations through the opening of the new Kyoto branch. It will also provide swifter responses to customer needs and attentive service as a comprehensive transport firm with an important role in “General Packaging Industry (GPI)” Rengo.
