Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces that it has acquired a 100% stake in Sanwa Danboru Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kochi-shi, Kochi Prefecture; President: Yasuhiro Matsumoto), making it a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Sanwa Danboru is a corrugated packaging manufacturer which operates mainly in the Southwestern area of Kochi Prefecture. It was founded in 1961, has been soundly managed since its founding, and has a solid customer base.

Rengo will strengthen the cooperation between Sanwa Danboru and neighboring plants directly managed by Rengo, as well as the Rengo group companies, and will continue to expand the corrugated packaging business of group companies in Shikoku region.
