Rengo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; Chairman, President & CEO: Kiyoshi Otsubo) announces that it has acquired 20.0% of shares issued by Tarutani Packaging Co., Ltd, (Head Office: Amagasaki-shi, Hyogo Prefecture; President: Kiyotaka Tarutani).
Tarutani Packaging is a corrugated packaging manufacturer that operates primarily in Hyogo Prefecture, and has a production base in Kakogawa-shi. Going forward, Rengo will dispatch a part-time director to Tarutani Packaging and collaborate with neighboring plants directly managed by Rengo, as well as with Group companies. Rengo aims to improve the competitiveness of Tarutani Packaging while further expanding the Rengo Group's corrugated packaging business in the Kansai region.
